The Ambassadors of the Islamic countries prayed for peace and stability in Afghanistan.
On May 06, 2021, the Ambassadors of the Islamic countries based in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan prayed for peace and stability in Afghanistan, the region, and the world after an Iftar dinner.
Addressing the Ambassadors at the dinner, the Afghan Ambassador invited them to attend a briefing regarding the current situation of Afghanistan which is planned in Ashgabat. Fortunately, the Ambassadors of the Islamic countries accepted the invitation of the Afghan Embassy and attended a Congregational Prayer organized by the Afghan Embassy.
During the Iftar dinner, Mr. Khan Wali Khan Basharmal the Ambassador of Afghanistan emphasized strengthening the relations of the Islamic brotherhood in the current crisis and said that if the Muslims of the world unite against the ongoing wars and crises in the Islamic world, undoubtedly it will spread the message of peace to the world. He added that Islam is a religion of peace with humanistic values and that Afghanistan, in particular, needs more than ever the goodwill of the Islamic world for active cooperation for peace and stability.
The Ambassadors of the Islamic countries on behalf of their respective countries endorsed the position of the Afghan Ambassador and offered their sympathies and condolences.
