Afghanistan, China Would Soon Ink Agreement for Railway Construction

Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and China would soon ink an agreement with for starting work on the railway to connect the two countries.

These comments were expressed by Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing in a meeting with H.E President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani at the Presidential Palace “ARG”.

Jing said after the visit of China’s vice President to Afghanistan, the impression of his country’s leadership positively changed.

“After the official visit of President Ghani to China, the political, economic and security relationship between the two countries further improved.” Jing added.

President Ghani praised China for its support to Afghanistan and underscored the importance of its role in peace-talks as part of the Quadrilateral Coordination Group mechanism for finding a solution to the Afghan conflict.

The President said he is confident that relationship and friendship between Afghanistan and China would unprecedentedly strengthen which is in the best interest of both nations.
